Tamara Toledo is a Toronto-based visual artist, independent curator and educator. She graduated with honours in Drawing and Painting at Ontario College of Art & Design and completed an MFA at York University . Toledo is co-founder of the Allende Arts Festival. Her critical writing has been published in Fuse Magazine, ARM Journal and C Magazine. She is recipient of several grants and awards for her curatorial and artistic work. A few of her curatorial projects include: Alienation (DeLeon White Gallery), Idiomatica (Lennox Contemporary), Latin American Speakers Series (A Space Gallery), Pilgrimage of Wanderers (A Space Gallery), and Home Sweet Hogar (Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, Artscape Wychwood Barns). Tamara Toledo is the Public Programs Manager at Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art and Executive Director of LACAP (Latin American Canadian Art Projects).
